The Design of Fame: Featuring George Lois

The Art Directors Club Hall of Fame began in 1971 under the auspices of then president, George Lois. Celebrating the best in Design and Advertising talent, the Hall of Fame has recognized the likes of Walt Disney, Andy Warhol, Tibor Kalman, Paul Rand, and Charles and Ray Eames. Through this film, we learn the story of how the award was designed, its first inductees, and the life lessons of being a successful graphic communicator.

This film was presented at the Hall of Fame gala in 2010, with George in the audience, as a thank you to him for his contributions to the Club.
