A Thousand Words magazine is dedicated to photography only—no words, no ads. Oversized and quality printed by artisans in limited editions.

Sud Sud is a design studio based in Lisbon, Portugal.

We share a passion for editorial design, book making, printmaking and sharing the knowledge that was passed to us. Whether working for our clients or ourselves, our goal is to make the best print, to go beyond our limits and create pieces that really define us as design makers. Our goal is to create and promote relations with other designers and artists, that can enable us to send our projects further beyond.

Printing is a thing of extreme importance to us. We work with a family business printshop operating for more than 60 years in the north of Portugal, which is specialized in bookmaking (particularly photobooks) and manages to combine high printing technology with small print run editions.
