FYI: When viewing your Top Rated playlist, stars that iTunes assigns are hollow; stars that you assign are solid.

I can totally see how this would be a helpful tool to those just starting with digital music.  For me though — I actually used that playlist - which is now loaded with albums of music, on which I applied no rating.  {Edit Smart List}
