So ... I got my Mailbox
That's a big line. Based on some of the other numbers I've seen, my number was low.
I Wasn't Sure How to Feel
Reserving my Mailbox with my telephone number was weird. But even stranger was the day I got the SMS that I could download the app. Next thing I know - BAM - I'm in line. For an app.
143,671 people in front of you.
This was unexpected—I hadn't seen this before. Immediately, I started trying to imagine what 143,671 people would actually look like standing in front of me. I glance back down at that big blue number—ugh, what am I doing? Do I really care about this app? Do I even need it?
“You’re on your way to a whole new inbox”
The Final Countdown
Funny thing is, I kept opening the app - ya know, just to check my place in the biggest line of all lines ever for an email app. I like the blue. I didn't keep checking the status just because I like blue. Am I a sucker? Or is there something to this...makes me wonder - maybe people just want stuff that is worth standing in a line. Anyway, I'll start using the app and I won't bore you with a report later.
In case you haven't got your Mailbox yet, here is what that last 10 seconds of waiting looks like.
